Dorothy Bishop's sparkling voice possesses a rare blend of operatic training with pop jazz and rock influences. She has the uncanny ability to switch vocal styles on a dime. Dorothy’s latest venture into the classical crossover trend “POP OPERA” has created quite a buzz among the NYC and Florida club scenes. Melding urban dance beats with grand opera in a tongue in cheek manner, her dance CD "I'll be your diva tonite" has gotten rave reviews....most notably her cover of the Kemp / Puccini Nessun Dorma dance mix which has resulted in standing ovations all over the world.

Dorothy has shared the stage with Broadway stars Andrea McArdle, Reba McIntyre, Craig Bierko and Mickey Dolenz. She toured opposite Hollywood legend Faye Dunaway in the Tony Award winning play Master Class. She retains exclusive engagements with Royal Caribbean, Holland America and Norwegian World Cruises and recently headlined on the famous HM Queen Elizabeth II.

Opera Credits include Avery Fisher Hall, New Jersey Opera, Mississippi Opera, North Carolina Opera and Carnegie Hall. Dorothy ran her own opera company with James Jorden- Parterre Productions- from 2000-2003.
